Ecto, Blogger, and Line Breaks
One big problem with creating blog posts in Ecto is that Blogger by default does weird line break things when you publish it. (I referred to this in my Ecto blog earlier today.)
This is a known problem, and is supposedly fixed by changing a blog setting in Blogger. To do it:
- In Blogger, go to your blog settings
- Click the Formatting link
- Change the Convert line breaks setting to No
- Save Settings (button is at the bottom of the page
Theoretically, this allows Blogger to read your line breaks correctly.
We’ll see.
It doesn’t work. Workaround is to go into HTML and do a Find on
and Replace with
.
Stupid, stupid, stupid.
